Piaget's Developmental Theory. This child is pre-operational (2-7 years old). "Classifies objects by a single feature: e.g. groups together all the red blocks regardless of shape or all the square blocks regardless of colour". The last demonstration is my favorite.

I love the one person's comment on the video on YouTube. "It's, also, a great way to trick kids."


It's so hard to imagine our minds working that way at one point in our lives, because we're so used to thinking about the world differently.

Your father is MEAN. XD But that is hilarious. I applaud it at the same time that I say that it's mean.

It really is amazing! It happens so fast! I wonder if it's like a switch or if it develops like at one point a child would be able to do one of these tasks completely correctly, but not the others still. I can't remember if they ever said anything about it, but I imagine that it would be hard to test.
