Stolen or rescued? Maybe it's a bit of both…This individual was put in a tough spot when they found a tuxedo cat shivering, alone and stranded in the rain atop a neighborhood hill. No tag, no form of identification to return the cat to its owner, so they took him in for some temporary shelter, food, and cuddles until their owner was discovered! Multiple posts on Facebook, from offers to take him in to multiple shelter suggestions, yet no one claimed direct ownership just yet, only the intention to do so…

But after a few hours of rescue-bonding, a certain household, let us call it: The House, is suggested to be the highly likely owner of the cat. The problem? Well, The House is clearly an unsuitable environment for any cat…Their garage is always left open, putting their pets in danger, and the household as a whole just radiates N-E-G-L-E-C-T…Would it be so unethical if they gave the cat to the seemingly loving and kind couple who offered up their home instead of attempting to find out if it belongs to those who occupy The House…?

Weekends were made for one thing: endless scrolling through cat memes. After a long week of work, deadlines, and way too many emails, nothing hits quite like a fluffy feline face making the silliest expressions imaginable. Whether it's a cat caught mid-blep, a chunky loaf plopped in a sunbeam, or a mischievous tabby knocking over a glass with zero regrets, these memes are the ultimate weekend pick-me-up.

The beauty of cat memes is that they never run out. There's always a new kitty demanding snacks, snoozing in the weirdest positions, or looking completely unbothered while chaos unfolds around them. Each swipe brings a fresh burst of cattitude, making it impossible not to smile.

Sure, some people spend their weekends hiking or meal-prepping. But curling up on the couch, phone in hand, laughing at cats with dramatic captions is self-care at its finest. So go ahead: pour yourself a coffee, grab a blanket, and let the whiskered comedy roll. Because nothing says "weekend vibes" quite like scrolling through random cat memes.

This hooman adopted a sweet, sociable boy who's basically the feline version of a golden retriever. From the moment he arrived, he strutted around like he owned the place, then hopped straight into lap life without hesitation. Guests get the same red-carpet treatment. Sniffs, purrs, head boops, and instant friendship. He's the cat who never met a stranger, which is adorable… unless you're his slightly jealous pawrent.

Because while he follows his hooman everywhere, cuddles at bedtime, and grooms with way too much enthusiasm, he's also a total social butterfly. Now that his pawrent's been away for two weeks, the cat sitter is getting daily doses of affection too. Cue the pawrent's FOMO: "Am I being replaced? Does he even miss me?"

But here's the thing. Cats may spread the love, but they never forget their true furmily. When this hooman comes home, they can expect the full welcome committee: purrs, cuddles, maybe even some overzealous grooming. This isn't a breakup. It's just proof their boy's heart is big enough for everyone.

Got the Tuesday blues? It's not the middle of the week, it's not the beginning, and it's not the end. It's somewhere strange where you don't know how you feel about it. Tuesdays can be the most uninspiring day of the week. Monday's chaos has already hit, but you're still reeling from weekend rest or fun. Wednesday is smack dab in the middle, where you can start looking forward to the weekend, and then it is weekend. But Tuesday? Who are you?

At least we have adorable felines to get us out of our Tuesday (or other days) troubles. Imagine a tabby practicing its best ferocious bite on a stuffed mouse, only to topple over backward. Or a cream-colored fluff ball gently gnawing on a blanket corner, then pausing to purr like it just saved the world. These tiny disasters in training are here to remind you to laugh, breathe, and maybe, just maybe, forgive Tuesday for being Tuesday.

Cats are an incredibly perceptive bunch, there is no denying that. Even when they spend serious hours of their days perched on windowsills screeching at birds, their minds are playing out wild chases, epic battles and gracious victories that they could only dream of doing. Which should make it come as little to no surprise that our feline friends are rather fond of watching television.

Going so far as to have favorite shows, opinions on certain characters, and in some cases being so involved in what is happening on screen that they attempt to intervene with the action going down during their favorite show. And lucky for us cat lovers, some of the pawrents of these TV watching felines have come together to share what their cat children enjoy watching most on TV. so sit back and get ready to add some shows to your favorites list as these cat pawrents take us through their feline roomates' favorite shows.

The Cat Distribution System is a truly powerful thing. Aside from its well known qualities such as how to match up hoomans and cattos who need each other, how to get them to meet in surprising and emotional ways and of course their impeccable timing. The CDS is also capable of great deception in the name of keeping a feline in need safe and sound. A faculty which is rather front and center in today's story, in which the CDS places a pregnant stay cat with a woman who is more than capable of caring for a momma cat and her litter, but under the guise of a neutered male cat.

We can only imagine that it pulled this trick to ensure that the rescuer would not turn to a shelter to try and rehome the momma, seeing as there is hardly a soul on the planet who would willingly take on six cats at once, and so by disguising the catto as a male the CDS was able to keep the momma safe and sound until she gave birth. A slightly cruel joke to play, albeit probably rather necessary.

It truly boggles the mind to try and understand the kind of people who think that it is in any way ok to abandon a pet for one reason or another, and then when they are filled with regret, to try to bring that pet back. Because, even if the pet's new owner would be ok with you coming and taking away the cat that they have spent time and money bonding with, the cat itself is conscious enough to understand what you have done to them, and they deserve so much better than having a person who changes their mind about wanting them in their life every few days or weeks.

And that is the moral of this story, which tells the tale of a woman who for one reason or another decided to palm off her cat child while she was out of the country, only to demand the return of the cat upon her return. A request which was denied and led to a series of sour events to transpire.

We know that when the Cat Distribution System sends someone a cat, it's usually for the right reason. Nobody actually knows how the CDS works, but we all guess it's a match-making service combined with a delivery system that heals hooman hearts, and saves cats in need. When a kind human soul finds their comfort in saving a cat that found their way to their arms, hearts, and homes - we know the CDS has done a great job. This is why we endlessly love these cat adoption stories - they bring joy to every cat lover who reads them.

But sometimes human meddling can ruin a good match made by the mysterious Cat Distribution System. And humans… well, as hearty as they sometimes are, they just can't seem to realize the genius of the CDS that's at work. And that's disheartening, to say the least. We felt the pain in the words of a 23-year-old young man, who adopted a sickly kitten, took care of her, nurtured her back to health, and even agreed that his grandmother co-parents her, because she asked - only to have her move away suddenly when her health deteriorated, and take the cat with her.

Look, we're sensitive to the matter of elderly people who receive so much joy from an adopted animal. But we're also sensitive to hearing the pain of a cat pawrent whose cat was simply… taken away from them, without notice. It's hurtful! We could never imagine our cats, our babies, being taken away one day, and we simply just discovered it. It's a pain we could never bear.

We sincerely hope this cat will get to wherever she'll be best.

What do you call a Furiday without cat memes, feline fam? Boring! Actually, that rule pretty much applies to every day of the week. And a day without any cats at all is called purrgatory. Get it? We hope so; we worked really hard on that joke. But luckily, that day is not today because today is Furiday, which means that we get to share with you our newest batch of lol-worthy cat memes from our online 'I Can Has Cheezburger' feline family. Our meme wizards have been working overtime at the meme factory, so much so that they might even give the cats at the biscuit factory a run for their money.

It's not about who's working more, though; we appreciate all biscuit and meme-makers. Without both of these essential workers, the cat corner of the internet would come to a halt, and we can't have that happening, not on our watch. But you do have a very impurrtant job to do - you have to scroll through these memes or else all their hard work will be fur nothing. Can we trust you with this sacred duty of scrolling and giggling? Of enjoying and laughing? Of purrtaking in whiskery wonderment and feline shenaniganry? We're betting all our tuna tokens on you… don't let us down.

Some big cats, unfortunately, don't have the best start in life. We want them all to be free, running around in the wild, meowgestic as they are, but that's not always possible. Some big cats cannot be released back into the wild for a bunch of reasons. We've heard of a bobcat who fell on its head as a kitten and has lost all its instincts. We've heard of a lion born with a rare disorder who can't survive on its own in the wild. We heard of a panther who got rejected by its mother when it was a kitten.

There are so many cases like that, and all we can hope for is that in as many of these cases as possible, other solutions will be found - other ways for these big cats to be fulfilled and happy throughout their lives. And Petie… Petie is definitely a happy one. Sure, he couldn't be released back into the wild, but he has a family, cat friends, favorite toys. He's living his best life, it just looks a little different than other bobcats.

When you find a cat who shows you that they want to be your best feline friend fur life, you hold them close to your palm, give them all the scratchies, and never let them go.

Rolo, the stray cat who was rescued in this next story, was as feral as they come. The kind human who found him explains that Rolo was trapped, neutered, and released many years ago, but was suffering from several ailments.

To call Rolo feisty would be an understatement… Instead of the human giving him scratchies, he gave the human some pretty gnarly ones. But hey, when you're a cat lover, everything feels worth it to give them the comforting life they deserve.

If you're lucky, a feral cat will take a liking to you. Well, the human went from getting scratched Freddy Krueger-style to giving Rolo pets under his chin, and he curls up in his lap. How lucky are we to walk the same earth as animals as trusting as our beloved felines? Scroll below to get a good look at Rolo and more information about what changed.

A homeowner has found themselves in the middle of an unexpected catastrophe, thanks to their neighbor's outdoor feline. This adventurous kitty has turned their property into her personal playground… and their pets are not amused.

Every morning, she scales fences to hiss at the family dog until he barks like he's lost his marbles (and he normally never barks). The indoor cats, who just want to enjoy a little sunrise lounging, are now met with an angry paw-banging visitor on the window glass. So much for peaceful morning sunbeams!

But the chaos doesn't stop there. The neighbor's cat has scared off all the birds, left "presents" in the garden and even under the carport, and regularly invades the cat run to terrorize the resident felines. It's clear this kitty has claimed the whole yard as her kingdom.

Meanwhile, the neighbors laugh it off, insisting their cat just loves them. For the homeowner, though, this daily dose of cattitude is anything but charming and it's turning home sweet home into furustration central.

Cats may not come with résumés, but they've mastered the art of being the best office pawssistants. Forget interns. These furry coworkers are always ready to "help" with important tasks. Need someone to keep an eye on your keyboard? Your cat is already sprawled across it, preventing any unauthorized emails from being sent. Taking notes? No problem. They'll bat your pen off the desk and remind you that breaks are mandatory.

Meetings are their specialty, too. Cats provide dramatic commentary with perfectly timed meows, reminding everyone who the real boss is. And when productivity dips, nothing boosts morale like a surprise headbonk or a fluffy tail swishing across the webcam. Sure, they might accidentally delete your report or walk across the power button, but it's all part of their unique management style.

Their biggest contribution? Stress relief. One cuddle session or mid-afternoon purr, and suddenly that deadline feels less catastrophic. At the end of the day, cats don't just assist with work. They remind us to pause, stretch, and enjoy the little things. Truly, every office could use a pawfessional feline assistant.

Some folks claim they "hate cats," but they're just missing out on the meowgic. Cats get a bad rep for being aloof, but really, they're just practicing the fine art of selective affection. Unlike dogs, who throw their love at anyone with a pulse, cats make you earn it. And when a kitty finally curls up on your lap? That's not just affection. It's a royal honor bestowed upon their chosen hooman.

Critics complain cats are "selfish," but let's flip the script. Who else provides 24/7 pest control, free foot warmers, and entertainment in the form of zoomies? That's multitasking at its finest!

The truth is, people who say they don't like cats just haven't met their cat yet. Once the right feline chooses them, all that "I'm not a cat person" talk will disappear faster than a treat bag opening. Behind every swat, hiss, or side-eye is a loyal, hilarious, purrsonality waiting to prove that cats are pawsitively wonderful companions.
