Since it's the last week before final exams (and moving, and the start of a new psych internship), I'm just going to throw out a topic and let you guys post your thoughts/personal experiences on the matter:

ONLINE RELATIONSHIPS.

Can they work for long-term relationships?  Can they lead to marriage?  Can they lead to successful/life-long marriages?  Why or why not?  Have you ever dated someone via the internet?  How about a family member or friend?  How did that turn out?

All of those answers can be yes--or no. It really just depends on the people. The trust [or lack thereof]

I have made it a rule to never date anyone online. Especially if they're a significant distance [and by significant, I mean 10 miles] [x from me. I met Simon online, though, and despite our rocky patches that are present in every day marriages, I feel that there are other rocky patches that are introduced by virtue of the fact that.. well.. the Internet is vast. Some people never stop looking, despite how happy//content they are. Some people do. idk, I'm rambling. Either way, my answers are yes. It CAN and does work. You just have to work harder at it, I think...
